About us
The centre is licensed for 80 children. We have three rooms within our centre. Pipi Room is for infants, Kina Room is for toddlers and Wahanui Room is for preschoolers. Our teacher-child ratios are excellent and far better than Ministry of Education ratios so that your child can engage in positive, caring and meaningful interactions with the teachers.
Our premises
Indoor and outdoor spaces flow into each other. Classrooms open to the outside where children and teachers feel intimately connected to the learning environment. There is a high quality natural outdoor environment. This is a place where children can grow and nurture their own gardens. Enjoy a climbing area, swings, sandpits, slides and open space.
Nature programme
Our nature programme connects all of our children to the natural environment through meaningful outdoor experiences. From using our quad buggies to take the infants for a walk to the local reserve to look for frogs and eels, to muddy trips and climbing trees for our older children.
We have a large children's garden where we grow our own vegetables and herbs and care for plants and insects. All which develop lifelong skills while having fun.
